Yasiel Puig Traded to Cincinnati Reds

Yasiel Puig was traded to the Cincinnati Reds on Friday after six years with the Los Angeles Dodgers. Included in the trade were Yasiel's Dodger teammates: Alex Wood, Matt Kemp and Kyle Farmer.

"I would like to thank the Los Angeles Dodgers for giving me my first opportunity to live out my lifelong dream of being a Major League Baseball player. I have been blessed over the past 6 years with great teammates and the best fans in baseball. It has been an honor to serve the community of Los Angeles through my Wild Horse Children's Foundation. The memories with children and families I have met, I will cherish forever," said Puig in a statement posted on his social media. "With that being said, I look forward to this next chapter as a member of the Cincinnati Reds and Cincinnati community. I am excited to be a part of this team and get to work!"
