Yasiel Puig Commits $50,000 Donation for 50th Dodgers Dreamfield

Today, the Los Angeles Dodgers Foundation (LADF), in partnership with Yasiel Puig, the City of Los Angeles, the Tyler Development Corporation, and the LA84 Foundation, held a groundbreaking ceremony at Algin Sutton Recreation Center in South Los Angeles to celebrate the 50th Dodgers Dreamfield. Puig is honored to support LADF with a $50,000 donation to the project. The construction of this project will be completed in September 2018.


Yasiel Puig joined LADF Executive Director Nichol Whiteman and representatives from Tyler Development Corporation and LA84 Foundation, City of Los Angeles Recreation and Park General Manager Mike Shull, Olympic softball player Natasha Watley, Dodger Alumni Manny Mota, Aleta Williams (daughter of Algin Sutton), Actor Dondré Whitfield, and many youth softball and baseball players representing the community of Algin Sutton, Dodgers RBI (Reviving Baseball In Inner Cities), the Natasha Watley Foundation, and Yasiel Puig’s 66ers baseball team.
