Yasiel Puig’s Wild Horse Children’s Foundation hosted a holiday party at Marco Antonio Firebaugh High School in partnership with Giving Children Hope.
The event’s 800 guests from McKinney-Vento Homeless Assistance Program enjoyed a fun-filled holiday party with food from Papa John’s Pizza and Stone Fire Grill, live music by a mariachi band and DJ, a photobooth, face painting and a visit from Mr. and Mrs. Claus.
500 children received a gift card for Chick-fil-A and toys from the Wild Horse Children’s Foundation. Each family received an additional gift from their “wish list” provided by Giving Children Hope
On behalf of Yasiel Puig, the Wild Horse Children’s Foundation surprised multiple deserving families with donations including:
- Four homeless families received a home for the holidays through a hotel stay in addition to gift cards for living expenses, including a $100 gift card to Papa John's
- Four additional families were gifted complete meals for their entire home to enjoy on Christmas Day
- One family with a special-needs child were informed that their utilities have been paid to restore their heat and electricity
